About Us
The Tasty&Healthy diet was developed by leading specialists in inflammatory bowel disease and nutrition. It is based on the latest scientific discoveries about the causative role of foods in the development of intestinal inflammation. All contributors worked entirely on a voluntary basis and do not receive any royalties or financial compensation from the book or from the use of the diet.

Groundbreaking research showed that Tasty&Healthy diet can help induce remission in children and young adults with mild-to-moderate Crohn’s disease, similar to Exclusive Enteral Nutrition (EEN). Also, Tasty&Healthy diet is effective in reducing inflammation in patients with Crohn’s disease who have no symptoms but still significant bowel inflammation.

The Tasty&Healthy research program was funded by the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust and led by Professor Dan Turner, head of the Juliet Keidan Institute of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at Shaare Zedek Medical Center, Jerusalem.

At the institute, we believe that integrating research into clinical practice enhances patient care. Research provides access to innovative treatments and technologies not yet part of standard care, offering patients advanced solutions at no cost and without delays.

Our institute leads international studies across four continents and dozens of centers, supported by a highly skilled research team of project managers, coordinators, a statistician, and laboratory staff. With a state-of-the-art laboratory, we are equipped to drive impactful medical advancements worldwide.
